CNTR-HUB-DETAIL.GIF (20339 bytes)

This center hub was produced for the top of a cupola which held the 7" glu-lams. The hub was constructed from eight bent pieces of 1/4" (.250) x 3.0" hot rolled plate. It was then jig welded to form the final hexagonal shape. Approximate diameter was 24". A light was installed in the center hole after installation.

These corner braces can have a multitude of uses from supporting a ridge beam, a porch header or to being a decorative accessory in a room. One example is shown above to stabilize a walkway structure. The other example is in a kitchen for decoration. These braces can be made from 10 ga. to 1/2" thick plate. Just about any shape can be cut in the center for a personalized touch.

Cost:   $49.00  ( for 13" x 13" x 3/16" thk. )


This bracket fastened a 8 x 8" post to 5-1/8" glu-lam beams on the perimeter of a deck. It was made from 1/4" plate and jig welded as an assembly. Length was approx. 14" and it stood about 13" high

These brackets fastened a 5-1/8" glu-lam collar tie to adjacent roof rafters. They were made from 1/4" plate and jig welded as an assembly. Each individual plate measured 2-1/2"x6" before welding

These brackets were use to fasten a rafter to a ridge beam. The rafters were 5-1/8" glu-lam beams. These were made from three pieces of 1/4" plate and jig welded together.

These cute corner braces were used for rafter brackets. The owner was looking for something to 'different'. These brackets did the trick. They were special made from a single piece of 10 ga. plate. Texas was cut on our CNC Plasma torch and mounting holes were drilled. The piece was then bent to 90 deg. in our press brake. Just about any character can be cut in the bracket.  


Cost:    $18.00 pr. ( in a 30 piece quantity )

These cute corner braces were installed in a custom horse barn. The contractor was looking for something to 'clean-up' the look of the space. These brackets did the trick. They were special made from a single piece of 10 ga. plate. Horses were cut on our CNC Plasma torch and mounting holes were drilled. The piece was then bent to 90 deg. in our press brake. Just about any character can be cut in the bracket.

Here's a bracket that comes in handy! Ever have to hang a 5-1/8" glu lam perpendicular to another beam? Well, these brackets are the answer. This unit was made for a 5-1/8" x 15" glu-lam. Available for any size beam.

These plates represent some of the everyday bracket needs in building a deck or raised porch. They can be made from hot rolled plate up to 1/2" thick. The profiles are cut from a single piece of steel on our CNC Plasma torch. NO WELD JOINTS!  Virtually any shape can be made. Prices will vary depending on size.
